P.S. ARTS partnered with Nickelodeon on developing a SpongeBob Art & Wellness Activity Guide as part of its Nick Community Efforts (NiCE) program. The activity guide was developed by P.S. ARTS arts education experts to support social emotional learning and academic growth in classrooms and communities. It includes activities and provides background, creativity prompts, and step-by-step instructions for creative projects inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants and Bikini Bottom. The resource will reach over 240,000 students from pre-K to 8th grade in over 300 schools across the country through the Nickelodeon network!
As stated in the guide, “The activities encourage common practices for maintaining social emotional wellness, including: keeping an open-mind, playing, being your authentic self, taking chances to grow, acts of service and generosity, and persevering.” Look for it on the Nick Community website or download it here.
