With matching funds from legacy donors Pam Bergman and Laura Fox, P.S. ARTS aims to raise $500,000 over five years for the Vision & Action Fund. This new fund is dedicated to driving growth and ensuring our enduring position as a leader in public education equity and transformation through the arts.
How is the Vision & Action Fund different from other major gift opportunities?
Beyond maintaining the status quo, the Vision & Action Fund is reserved entirely for service innovation and pilot projects that significantly increase P.S. ARTS’ earned income, sustainable growth, and capacity to be a powerful social change-driver in California and the United States.
As an example, in 2021, a $50,000 investment from the P.S. ARTS Vision & Action Fund in Teaching Artist development led to hiring more than a dozen new Teaching Artists and allowed the organization to accept more than $250,000 in public funding contracts, providing arts programs for 10,000 more students in high-need school districts.
Contribute to innovation at P.S. ARTS and join the Vision & Action Advisory Council.
A five-year commitment to the Vision & Action Fund of any amount that is personally meaningful to the donor will contribute to Pam and Laura’s legacy of visionary leadership effecting transformational action at P.S. ARTS. Fund contributors are also invited to be thought leaders as part of the Vision & Action Advisory Council, which will meet annually to learn about the impact of the past year’s investment and discuss plans for future ventures. Additional benefits of becoming a Vision & Action Fund contributor include:
- Invitation to annual Board of Trustees Retreat
- Tickets to all P.S. ARTS’ signature events
- Recognition on the P.S. ARTS website and Vision & Action Fund materials
