The Inside Out Community Arts (IOCA) Program is excited to start the new year with a slate of eight new Teaching Artist Trainees (six of which joined through our TASI program).  After a pandemic hiatus, the IOCA Training Academy returned during the fall to develop theater artists in the award-winning Inside Out curriculum.  An extensive and comprehensive training model that provides over forty hours of curriculum review, workshop practice and on-site observation and participation, a select cohort of eight theater artists were brought on to support a growing faculty need for the middle school performing arts program.

We are excited by the commitment, compassion, and talent these Trainees have brought to the development of the Inside Out program and we are eager to support them and soon have them on site as qualified, enthusiastic, and compassionate P.S. ARTS Teaching Artists for the IOCA and all P.S. ARTS programming. As we say at the end of each workshop – “Gooooo Inside Out!”
