About the activity:

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist who creates paintings, sculptures, installations, and performances that all involve polka dots. Yayoi was born in Japan in 1939 and made drawings and paintings all her life, even when her parents did not want her to. After attending art school, she moved to New York, where she became friends and made art with important artists such as Andy Warhol and Donald Judd. Yayoi Kusama has had exhibits all over the world and continues to make polka dotted paintings, sculptures, and installations.
