We are thrilled to share the news that the P.S. ARTS Extended Learning team has successfully completed yet another round of summer programming. It brings us immense joy to know that our program provided instruction in Music, Visual Arts, Theater, and Dance to students from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and Compton Unified School District.
Thanks to the facilitation of over 17 Teaching Artists, we were able to extend our programming to over 20 LAUSD schools, enabling more than 1,200 students to explore their creativity. Our gratitude goes out to our funding partner, GPSN, for their unwavering support.
Furthermore, we were contracted by Compton Unified School District to provide summer dance classes to their nine elementary schools, where four dance Teaching Artists imparted their skills to over 450 students. P.S. ARTS is excited to continue these partnerships and provide arts education to all students!
