Recently, students in P.S. ARTS’ Inside Out Community Arts program had the opportunity to get together for IOCA Painting and Production Day, a day that provides students from participating schools the opportunity to meet one another and flex their theatrical design skills as they design and paint the sets for their final performances. In this guest blog, Program Manager of Extended Learning Francisco shares more about this year’s Painting and Production Day!

The IOCA Painting and Production Field Trip is an exciting hands-on experience where students step into the world of theatrical design. This trip provides young artists with the opportunity to contribute directly to the creation of their upcoming performance by engaging in scenic painting and production work.
