New Hampshire seeks public input as it rewrites school arts standards
New Hampshire’s state art standards haven’t been updated since 2001, so they are looking for public input to help guide the new set of standards. Valley News

N.C. House clears arts-education requirement bill; N.C. Senate chances less certain
In a similar move, North Carolina has proposed a bill to make arts education a requirement for graduation. House Bill 56 has passed 115-3 and moves to the North Carolina Senate. Winston-Salem Journal
