Briefly introduce yourself and explain your position at P.S. ARTS.Hello, my name is Alyssa Allen. I’m excited to have the opportunity to work here at P.S. ARTS! As the new Operations Assistant, I will be supporting the Operations and Finance department as well as helping out as needed in other areas of the organization.
What book is currently on your nightstand?
The book I’m reading now is The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green. This book takes three thousand years of the history of power and synthesizes the philosophies of people like Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, Carl von Clausewitz, and other great thinkers.
What is currently the most played song you’ve been listening to?
I listen to all kinds of different genres but, my most played song at the moment would have to be “Down Home” by Jimmie Allen.
Where is your favorite place to view or take part in art in Los Angeles?
I really love Ancient Greek and Roman Art, so I would say that the Getty Villa is the best place for me to see art in Los Angeles.
What famous person, either dead or alive, would you choose to take out for coffee?
I would really like to take Shaquille O’Neal to coffee, he’s much more than just a retired basketball player. I think he would impart great information and wisdom.
