Happy Juneteenth! June 19 commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans and a step towards equality. Although this holiday has been celebrated in communities throughout the United States for over 150 years, the social injustices that have made headlines over this past year have helped it finally be recognized as a national holiday. Juneteenth is a day to celebrate, remember, grow, learn, reflect, create, and work towards a more equitable future. Celebrate with us by checking out some of the links and resources below!
