On Friday, October 25, P.S. ARTS Board and friends gathered to support P.S. ARTS’ Vision & Action Fund. We’re immensely grateful to Brielle and Chuck Block for opening their home and to Austin Beutner for his inspiring insights into the Prop 28 landscape and what it means for the future of our public schools and Teaching Artists.
The Vision & Action fund plays a critical role in advancing arts education through programs like our Teaching Artist Seasonal Intensive (TASI). This program provides vital professional development for teachers and artists, preparing them with the skills needed to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. TASI was created in response to a growing demand for skilled Teaching Artists across Los Angeles and within P.S. ARTS, aiming to uplift both educators and students through innovative and well-prepared teaching professionals.
Support of the Vision & Action fund directly fuels programs like TASI, helping ensure that our public schools continue to have the resources and talent needed to make arts education accessible and transformative.
