P.S. ARTS To Go! Mose Tolliver Celebration Portraits

About the activity:

Mose Tolliver was an American artist who used the hardship of an injury as motivation to explore his creative side and paint! He was known for creating figures out of big blocks of bright colors and would often paint on everyday objects such as pieces of wood. Bridging the gap between “folk” and “fine” art, his works have been displayed in museums all over the country.

Materials needed:

  • White paper
  • Permanent marker
  • Something to color with
