Welcome, Tiffany! Briefly introduce yourself and tell us about your role at P.S. ARTS:
Hello everyone. I am the new Program Director and will be working with the Programs Team, CEO, and Deputy Director to lead program development, delivery, and quality, as well as be responsible for curriculum and instruction oversight. All that is to say, I’m bringing my experience and all the joy I can to the table, to support the Programs Team in the work that it does every day to fulfill a mission of providing high quality arts education to students.

What book is currently on your nightstand?

All the Living and the Dead by Haley Campbell. It’s a non-fiction exploration of folks who hold some interesting jobs. I’ll also share that I recently began watching the entire X-Files series from the very beginning, so there seems to be a slightly spooky theme to my reading and viewing lineup at the moment. It wasn’t intentional but it’s definitely thematically appropriate to the fall season (I balance things out with healthy doses of house renovation shows and cat memes).

What is currently the most played song you’ve been listening to?
I have been listening to “Work” by Charlotte Day Wilson ON REPEAT, 24/7!!!

Where is your favorite place to view or take part in art in Los Angeles?
Anywhere and everywhere. L.A. is rich with creativity. I enjoy discovering community festivals and activated spaces around the city in parks and unexpected, site-specific venues. I’m pretty easy to entertain.

What famous person, either dead or alive, would you choose to take out for coffee?
Ooooh, that’s a tough one. Well, right at this moment I bet it’d be super fun to grab a latte with Lizzo. She spent some time at the Library of Congress recently, playing rare, historically important instruments. Maybe after coffee we could head over there, or over to The Smithsonian complex and chat about some of the collections. That would be cool.

Thank you, Tiffany! Learn more about Tiffany and her professional background here
