P.S. ARTS is excited to introduce our new Programs Assistant, Lucas Esperanza. Lucas joins the P.S. ARTS team with a background in performing arts and a passion for social justice. Learn more about him and his role in our latest blog.

Briefly introduce yourself and explain your position at P.S. ARTS. Hello! I’m Lucas Esperanza and am joining the P.S. ARTS team as the Programs Assistant. As Programs Assistant, I provide administrative, logistical, and operational support for the programs department’s activities.
What book is currently on your nightstand? The novel, Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. It’s a time warp of a tale about immortality, love, and the most dangerously lascivious vegetable known to humanity: the beet!
What is currently the most played song you’ve been listening to? “Head Over Feet” by Alanis Morrissette has been the bop!

Where is your favorite place to view or take part in art in Los Angeles? Seeing a Center Theatre Group show at the Mark Taper Forum!

What famous person, either dead or alive, would you choose to take out for coffee? I would love to pick the brain of Filipino novelist and poet, Carlos Bulosan!

Thank you, Lucas! To learn more about our Board, Staff, and Faculty team click here.
