A team of researchers in the field of education have found that an arts-integrated approach to teaching English provides a number of benefits for speakers of English as a second language. Their recent study found that “English-language learners developed confidence, a sense of belonging and deeper language skills when the arts were incorporated into teaching and learning practices.” The Conversation

The goal of our month-long campaign is to elevate public awareness of the value of the arts and the collective impact the arts bring to our communities and state.
