On Tuesday, October 29, the P.S. ARTS team gathered for an All Staff Day—a time for connection and collaboration, at the P.S. ARTS offices at the Children’s Institute in Echo Park. The day was filled with discussions, creative sessions, and some Halloween fun.

The day started off with a Council session around the theme of Belonging, providing an opportunity for the group to connect and communicate from the heart. From there, the team dove into a theme-building session for the upcoming school year, allowing each team member to contribute their voice and ideas for a cohesive, inspiring vision around the organization’s upcoming 35th anniversary.

After lunch, staff engaged in an arts integration activity designed to spark creativity and emphasize the hands-on, immersive approach we bring to students and classrooms through our Educator Development department. Later, team members split into groups to focus on key points from our Strategic Plan, dedicating time to update our approach for making arts education accessible and impactful in the schools we serve.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to work together, set our intentions, and celebrate as a team!
