About the activity:
Mark Bradford born in 1961 is a African-American contemporary artist. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and still currently lives there. Bradford spent his early years working at his mother’s hair salon, where he used materials from the salon and incorporated them into his work. He’s developed an artistic style by using found materials into his multi-layered abstract creations. His fifty-foot wide painting Deep Blue (2018) depicts a map ofthe city of Los Angeles.
