About the activity:

Russian artist Marc Chagall was born in 1887 as the oldest of nine children. As a child, he studied drawing and painting, until he went to Paris in 1910 to become an artist. Chagall often painted dreamlike scenes using memories from his childhood. He painted art that was surreal, expressing his emotions through colors and imagined imagery. In his painting Paris Through the Window, Chagall combined his inner world of memories and outer world of reality. Today, we will use images in our own lives to create our own “City Through the Window.”
