About the activity:

Frank Buffalo Hyde is a Native American artist who's art focuses on pop culture. Buffalo Hyde was born without a right arm and leg due to his father being exposed to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. He does not like to paint realistically, instead he prefers making commentary on things that are relevant today. He paints in order to reconcile his family's past and his nation's history.

Materials needed:

  • Oil pastels or crayons
  • Watercolor
  • White paper
