P.S. ARTS To Go! Faith Ringgold Dinner Quilt

About the activity:

Faith Ringgold was born in 1930 in Harlem, New York City. Ringgold is best known for her painted “story quilts.” Her mother was a fashion designer and a heavy influence on her artwork. Each of the story quilts that Ringgold creates has painted pictures on fabric to depict memories that Ringgold had of her family and stories that she created. Today you will be creating your own story quilt based on your family and a family dinner.
