Every December, the P.S. ARTS administrative staff celebrates the giving season through a creative tradition – our annual Secret Crafty Pal (SCP) exchange. A P.S. ARTS take on the Secret Santa concept, with the twist being to craft a handmade gift. SCP is an opportunity for staff to connect, showcase their artistic spirit, and share a little joy (and maybe a few laughs) before the year wraps up.
After names are drawn, the office buzzes with mystery and excitement. Who has me? Who does everyone else have? Everyone is cautiously trying to learn more about their “pal” for crafty inspiration without giving away any clues. The creativity is endless – from
baking to painting to wood burning.
Our celebration culminates at a staff holiday lunch where we reveal and exchange gifts. More than just an exchange, this tradition celebrates the talent within the team and is a reminder of the care and connection that defines P.S. ARTS work culture. SCP captures the essence of P.S. ARTS’ commitment to building community and the power within artistic expression.
