KT Leuterio is a Program Manager, Classroom Studio at P.S. ARTS and has been a part of the team since 2016. She currently coordinates programming with the Lynwood, Los Angeles, and El Segundo school districts as well as the Reef-Sunset School District in Central California. Since 2016, P.S. ARTS has been a proud partner and service provider for Lynwood Unified School District. In past years, we have provided arts education to 2nd graders throughout the school district. Last year, P.S. ARTS provided recorded Visual Arts, Music, Theater, and Dance lessons to the students. This school year marks a great milestone in our partnership – we have expanded our services to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th graders throughout the entire district!
This expansion of services has brought new opportunities for the organization, we have hired 11 new Teaching Artists to work with the students in Lynwood. With this group of new P.S. ARTS Teaching Artists, the Programs Team has developed a Cohort Workshop program, in which Lynwood USD Teaching Artists attend monthly Professional Development Workshops, and work together as they progress through the residency. The Programs staff is very excited to be working with so many talented teaching artists, and we are excited to see what the rest of the school year brings!
