On March 4, 2026, the P.S. ARTS team had the opportunity to table at the Career Fair at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Valencia, connecting with current students and alumni interested in both the arts and education.

Throughout the day, we spoke with artists across disciplines and practices who were curious to learn more about opportunities to work with P.S. ARTS as Teaching Artists. The fair was also a great way to connect with other arts organizations, convening with the broader arts community while exchanging hellos and resources.

We were especially excited to share information about our upcoming Teaching Artist Summer Institute (TASI) training in April, which prepares artists to bring high-quality, inclusive arts instruction into classrooms through P.S. ARTS. For many students and alumni interested in teaching artistry, TASI offers a meaningful pathway to develop their practice while makinga lasting impact in schools and communities. We’re excited to continue these conversations and welcome new Teaching Artists into the P.S. ARTS community.
