This May, P.S. ARTS launched P.S. ARTS in the Park, a series of free community events in Pasadena and Brentwood designed to bring communities affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles together through hands-on artmaking and creative expression. With guidance from P.S. ARTS Teaching Artists and volunteers, participants engaged in a wide range of activities — from making pinch pots to collaborative painting projects to interactive music circles, offering a joyful and restorative opportunity to connect through the arts.
Throughout the day, both locations were filled with color and moments of joy as families experienced firsthand the power of the arts to foster healing and belonging.
Thank you to The Hollywood Reporter for sponsoring a full page ad celebrating P.S. ARTS in the Park, as seen on page 65 or their May 21, 2025 issue! We appreciate the opportunity to share out what we do – and we can’t do it without sponsors like you!
We appreciate everyone who joined us, and to our partners and volunteers for helping make P.S. ARTS in the Park a meaningful and memorable experience. We look forward to creating more opportunities for communities to connect through the arts! View photos from both events here.
