Meet P.S. ARTS’ new Community Arts Education Intern for Extended Learning, Elisabeth! Find out what Elisabeth is up to and learn about her interests in the interview below.

Hi! My name is Elisabeth (she/her) and I’m delighted to be the Community Arts Education Intern at P.S. ARTS! This summer, I’m primarily working on the P.S. ARTS To-Go! series, Family Art Night, and a Museum Resource Guide with the Extended Learning Team. I’m a rising 4th year undergraduate Art major and Visual and Performing Arts Education minor at UCLA.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
I love digital art, cartoons, and animation! I hope to one day publish my own comic about a group of kids trying to escape a haunted school. My home is in Washington State, so I also love walking around the forests in the rain, looking at the different plants and admiring the trees.

Do you have any hidden talents or skills?
Sometimes, I can make up and sing alto parts to songs if the vibe is right.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I’ve always wanted to visit the North Korean border. Both my paternal grandparents are from there and I wish to see a glimpse of the country they were born in. Despite its bleakness, they’ve said before that the land is beautiful.
