Meet P.S. ARTS’ new HR & Operations Coordinator, Aurora! Find out what Aurora is listening to and learn more about her interests in the interview below.

My name is Aurora (she/her). As an HR & Operations Coordinator I provide administrative support to various departments, overseeing office management, and supporting the Finance and Operations team.

What book is currently on your nightstand?
“Having People Over” by Chelsea Fagan. I just got it this week and I am looking forward to reading more about how to host amazing parties.

What song do you have on repeat right now?
“enknee1” by Hemlocke Springs. She’s such a fun artist and she reminds me of Marina and the Diamonds meets Imogen Heap. I saw her recently as the opener for Chappell Roan and she blew me away.

What is your favorite place to view or take part in art in Los Angeles?
I can go up and down Grand Street to visit all my favorite places, but to pick one I would pick Grand Central Library. They have galleries inside and I like to use the Octavia Lab when I can.

What famous person, either dead or alive, would you choose to take out for coffee?
Conan O’Brien. I want to ask him about his experience writing comedy.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
I make piñatas and papier-mâché sculptures.

Do you have any hidden talents or skills?
I know how to paint cars. From prepping the paint to using the spray booth. I took a class on it and can fix a dent if needed.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I want to go to Paris and see Notre Dame Cathedral. I really love Victor Hugo’s works so I want to visit the city that inspired him.
